The biggest risers this month in the Music Makes Europe Artist chart, what do they have in common? They’re all keeping up the spirit with optimistic pop and dance tunes!
Let’s have a look at those jumpers from the bottom to the top. Rising 25 notches to #55, British producer Fred Again.. enjoys airplay all over Europe with a song, in which befriended DJ/producer The Blessed Madonna bemoans in an interview the lack of night culture nowadays. The chopped-up interview ended up in the Warner-release Marea (We’ve Lost Dancing), which is such an uplifting tune, that it makes you dance each time you hear it on the radio. In Hungary, Croatian pop singer La Lana at #49 has huge success with an updated version of Whitney Houston’s How Will I Know (Warner), full of positive vibes. Also rising is British pop singer Griff, who will win the Rising Star Award at the Brits. Her song Back Hole (Warner) is picking up airplay all over Europe.
